Who we are...

Hamble Yacht Care is a family company in every sense of the term.

Paul Haddock started the company in 1993 to deliver a caring, quality service to yacht owners by an experienced yachtsman. He has been sailing for more than 30 years and has maintained and worked on a vast range of pleasure yachts. He has raced sailing yachts and delivered both sail and power boats as far afield as the Mediterranean.

Ken Haddock worked in the marine industry for seven years in the Far East, latterly as First Officer on a 100ft super-yacht. He holds a Hong Kong master / engineer licence and is an RYA Yachtmaster. He returned to the UK in 1999, bringing his considerable experience with power and sail to Hamble Yacht Care, where he is now the Managing Director.

Jan Haddock manages the day-to-day running of the company, bringing a wealth of experience in business administration that leaves the other members of the team free to concentrate on delivering hands-on service to customers.

The company also uses sub-contractors and specialist repairers with whom it has established preferrential rates and priority service arrangements.
